Waves 03:20
Something is happening, what can it be I’m so scared of falling, who’s gonna catch me The wind is a blowing, the sand stings my eyes I’m losing my balance, clouds over my sky Chorus Feelings of loneliness fading away The sun is arising out over the bay It’s something that I can see coming these days Slowly, but surely, I’m dreaming in waves The dry grass is whistling, the seabirds cry out The smell of the salt turns my senses about I’m floating like driftwood, I’m fighting the foam Seems like this current is taking me home Chorus
2.
Like a bike without a chain Like a bath without a drain Like a candle with no flame Is my life without you Like a town without a name Like the wine without the stain Like a Bruce without a Wayne Is my life without you Well I like to think, that I could get by, oh but I don’t even want to try Yes I like to think, that I could get by, oh but I don’t even want to try Just like pleasure without pain Like the sugar with no cane Just like Europe without Spain Is my life without you Like dessert without the main Like Pauline’s oh “please explain” Without you I go insane That’s my life without you Chorus Like a window with no pane Like a track without a train Like a band without a Jane Is my life without you Like a bike without a chain Like a bath without a drain Like a candle with no flame Is my life without you

Connie 05:58
I’d paint a picture of her face, but I’m no Picasso And time is wearing on, taking a memory every day But I will not forget what you’ve been to me Where do I begin to set my memories free Black and white movies and mud pies The secret cupboard, his medals and treasures hidden inside Smooth blue veins and soft paper skin Time away to begin again Chorus ‘Cause Connie’s part of the reason why I’m built this way And Connie taught me so much that I feel, so much that I say She taught me about different from and similar to I miss her still I used to wonder, how you lived alone A crocheted knee rug a cup of tea a telephone Now I understand what make you strong You’d been living like an island for so long She came two thousand miles to be with him, and She left a family, a city, a life, a home and She learnt to live with the dust and the flies and the farm and She battled on, and how she loved him I planted geraniums on your grave, I know you like them The stand of trees you planted still stands up to the wind and the rain Your door was always opened wide Your place was warm, familiar so safe inside Chorus I miss her still

Not if you beg, there’s no excuse There need to be changes, you can still choose We won’t tolerate in silence, crimes where there’s violence That’s no way to treat another human being STOP the violence, STOP the violence, STOP that violence, because It is unacceptable, it is unacceptable, It is unacceptable, it is unacceptable Don’t abuse the power, that you have in this world STOP those actions, well just put them on pause, permanently because That would be unacceptable, that would be unacceptable That would be unacceptable, that would be unacceptable Do, do, something about it, Do, do, something about it Do, do, something about it, Do, do, something about it Whether it’s walk then talk, or stand side by side We can all take action, for a positive cause Why don’t we do, do, do somethin’ about it Why don’t we do, do, do somethin’ about it Take a step now, keep learning how, Understanding, ways to respect Why don’t we do, do, do somethin’ about it Why don’t we do, do, do somethin’ about it Do somethin’ about it

Life’s complicated, feels syncopated Momentum’s hard to find to move ahead Time to remind myself the best way through Time to remember, I know what to do Chorus Err on the side of love, err on the side of love Take a breath, close your mouth, cool your head, just relax And err, on the side of love Life’s going my way, straight down the highway Nothing can bother me, cruisin’ along Then out of nowhere, I’m cleaned up from behind Time to remember, the best way I find Chorus Life isn’t always exciting new byways Day to day necessities can drag me down Whatever I’m doing I need to see The main priority Chorus x 2

Soon 03:32
Something coming on the breeze, Something eyes have never seen Something good around the bend, Something that will never end Ooohh, it’s coming soon No more crying, no more pain, All the loved ones whole again No more fighting, no more war, No need to fight anymore Ooohh, it’s coming soon, Ooohh, it’s coming soon No more sadness, no more greed, No one living on their knees All the exiles home again, All the captives free again Ooohh, it’s coming soon, Ooohh, it’s coming soon

Face in the window, where’s the journey’s end Train headin’ somewhere, turning round the bend Old train door opens, dust and diesel I can smell We don’t stop at every station, who knows its name See the world, the world just passing by See the world, the world just passing by See the world, the world just passing by Old man looks across, stares me in the eye Travellers share a moment in their lives Fear and anger, need to turn the tide Brings us out to where we cannot hide See the world, the world just passing by See the world, the world just passing by See the world, the world just passing by

Pen 03:48
Chorus Someone bring me a pen and a piece of paper It’s the only way I know To wipe away all the worries of this world That are brewing in my brow Share with me your story Tell me what is true Where there’s life, there’s always hope I pledge my pen to you Life is very precious People are a gift To me, it seems so obvious To others not so clear Chorus Violence gets us nowhere Silence nowhere too Write it down in black and white And send it on its way Write it to the leaders Tell the generals too Tell them their world is not so big We don’t know the things they do Chorus
9.
When evening came, it all seemed the same Push me on, to the other side I don’t feel ready, the load’s real heavy Push me on to the other side Thought it was me, but it’s you Carries my soul all the way through Way from the shore, to the other side Just as He was, He turned the tide Changed all my plans and broke my pride Came out of nowhere, it seemed at the time Carried me there, to the other side Thought it was me, but it’s you Carries my soul all the way through Way from the shore, to the other side

Time 04:15
Time, my time is precious here with you, oooh Time, my time is precious here with you I want to make it clear, I want to make it clear I think you’re really worth it, na na-na na-na Being with you makes it all worthwhile Oh yes, I think you’re really worth it, na na-na na-na Knowing you means I want to shine Chorus Life is full of possibilities, the world is there to taste and see When I look at all the good things There’s a whole lot of joy in the room, the green room baby Life, my life is precious here with you, oooh Life, my life is precious here with you I want to make it clear, you are so very dear And I think you’re really worth it, na na-na na-na Being with you makes it all worthwhile Oh yes, I think you’re really worth it, na na-na na-na Knowing you means I want to shine Chorus Time, my time is precious here with you, oooh Time, my time is precious here with you I want to make it clear, I want to make it clear I think you’re really worth it, na na-na na-na Being with you makes it all worthwhile Oh yes, I think you’re really worth it

Melt 03:47
Ooh melt into you Don’t know, don’t care, what’s going on out there Outside the circle that we’ve made around this table Ooh, so good to know I feel, I am alive, deep inside Inside this circle that we’ve made around this table This, this could be That thing they told me not to believe in If you’re strong enough to hold me in your arms This, this could be No, I don’t know what to believe in Are you strong enough to hold me in your arms I don’t understand Why it should take so long, to feel this way the way it feels inside the circle round this table This, this could be That thing they told me not to believe in If you’re strong enough to hold me in your arms This, this could be No, I don’t know what to believe in Are you strong enough to hold me in your arms

The harder the climb, the sweeter the view The clearer the day, the further I see The longer the walk, the better I rest And it is good, good for my soul The hotter the day, the cooler the sea The longer the summer, the more welcome the rain The thirstier I am, water tastes so sweet And it is good, good for my soul It’s good for my soul (good for my soul) So good for my soul (good for my soul) And it is good, good for my soul Sometimes when I pray, the answer is no way I don’t always agree (no, no, no), with what you’re saying to me But it’s a comfort to know, you really love me so And you are good, good for my soul When I am weak, that’s when you are strong When I let go, you never stop holding on And I want you to know, I really love you so And you are good, good for my soul
